Flat-panel TV wall mounting involves issues such as installation environment, installation location, bracket load-bearing, and load-bearing wall conditions. Consumers need to consider some professional elements and master installation skills when installing by themselves to ensure the normal use of flat-panel TVs.

The types of walls are mainly divided into brick walls, wooden walls, decorative walls, glass walls, and marble walls. These walls have strict requirements on the size and spacing of screw holes. When installing a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, users should pay attention to different installation techniques according to different wall types:

1. Ordinary brick wall

No special tools and craftsmanship are needed for installation, just use a percussion drill to make holes in the wall, install screws, and hang the TV.

2. Board wall

The board wall is divided into solid wood board and gypsum board wall. As long as the solid wood board is 2cm thick, use self-tapping screws to directly fill in the circle. If it is a plasterboard wall, you need to choose the positioning point, first use a utility knife to drill a hole in the center of the fixed point (the size that your fingers can enter), and then place a 2cm thick piece on the upper hole on the hanger Long wooden slats enable the self-tapping screws to pass through the gypsum board and enter the wooden slats during self-tapping, so that the area of force is increased.

3. Marble walls

Marble walls are divided into monolithic marble and patterned marble. For the overall marble slab, glass drills should be used. When using glass drills, you must water the glass drills while drilling to prevent the glass drills from burning out. If the glass drill is really difficult to drill through the wall, you can switch to a percussion drill halfway through the drill, but the percussion drill must be placed in the electric drill gear, otherwise it will crack the marble. After the hole is drilled, the expansion screw can be installed until it is tightened. For patterned marble, be more careful when drilling, because patterned marble itself has lines on it, and a slightly larger vibration force will cause cracks to expand.

4. Glass wall

There are brick and slab walls behind the glass wall. If there is a brick wall behind the glass wall, after selecting the position, use a glass drill to drill, and at the same time, you need to drill while watering the glass drill. The selected glass drill bit must be larger than the impact drill bit for the brick wall, and the glass hole must be well drilled. Later, drill the brick wall inside with a hammer drill. In order to prevent the glass from being crushed when the screw is installed, it is best to use a screw with a large expansion tube as a filler ring. The thickness of the filling ring can be selected to be slightly thicker than the glass, and then tighten the screws. If there is a board wall behind the glass plate, you only need to drill the glass hole with a glass drill. The glass hole should be slightly larger. After drilling the hole, you can put in the filling ring, and then use the self-tapping screw to tap. The selected self-tapping screw must A little longer than the thickness of the glass + the thickness of the board.
